The cottage is well sheltered by trees and bushes from passers-by and the rear faces a field for the ultimate in privacy.
Shortly there will be a new gate here, one of two entrances to the cottage (the other, off-screen to the left) is much wider for parking on the property should you wish to take your car off the street. There is adequate parking for two cars).
Above, you see the rear of the cottage which faces onto a field, giving a good degree of privacy all year around. The sun is at it’s best at the rear, the area being nestled between the two extension wings of this detached property.
Above, the cottage in winter (not showing the two wings) and below, the stream outside the front, seen on the street side.
Here we have a photo of the front of Willow Cottage, taken at night in winter (2018) in the pouring rain – the lighting helped keep the place feeling cosy despite inhospitable Christmas weather. Of course as Willow Cottage has a 21st century air source heat pump heating system, it is always cosy inside.
